What is The Practice?
The Practice is a multi-modality wellness destination in the heart of Toronto, at 360 Davenport Road — everything your nervous system has been asking for, under one roof.
We bring together movement, stillness, and support: a range of yoga styles, one-on-one therapy and coaching, meditation, sound healing, and vibroacoustic therapy, alongside a café, retail, and an event space with a rooftop. It’s a place to move through whatever you’re working through, at your own pace, without needing to explain yourself.
Founded by Sara Jackson, MSW, The Practice was built on the idea of gentle disruption — not about fixing yourself, but about being honest with yourself.
Who is The Practice for?
The Practice is for men and women of any age — whether you’re on a healing, spiritual, or professional journey, or simply curious about how things could be different in your life. No prior experience is required, just a willingness to show up and explore.

How do I get started?
What makes The Practice different from a traditional wellness space?
The Practice isn’t about fixing yourself — it’s about creating a life that feels right to you. We hold space for the deep work, help move through energetic blockages, and support you as you step outside your comfort zone. The approach is about offering new perspectives and new ways of being, opening the door to possibilities — only the ones that feel right for you.
You are the expert in your own life. We’re just here to help you move along that path, in a way that’s safe, grounded, and honest. The Practice is a no-shame, no-judgment space, rooted in compassion, curiosity, and deep acceptance.
Is The Practice covered by insurance?
Some licensed therapy services may be eligible for reimbursement under extended health plans, depending on your provider’s credentials. Receipts are provided upon request.
Can I drop in, or do I need an appointment?
It depends on the service. You’re welcome to drop in and check for space in an upcoming class, or for self-led services like the vibration beds — availability just depends on the day. One-on-one services, such as therapy, coaching, private yoga, and yoga therapy, do require an appointment, and events require advance sign-up to secure your spot.
Our café and retail space are open to drop in anytime.

What does “practice” mean to you?
Our mantra is “what you practice, you become.” It’s the daily choices we make, the habits we engage in, the way we show up in relationships, and how we respond to our own triggers. What we practice determines how we show up for ourselves and for others.
Sara built The Practice on the idea of gentle disruption — not about fixing yourself, but about being honest with yourself. Life is a practice, and we’re all doing it for the first time. We stumble. What matters is how we get back up, listen to what’s true, and choose what to practice next. It’s a rhythm, a flow — one we get to shape, one choice at a time.
